Hey class!
My name is Karali Fedor and I'm graduating in about 39 days. Whoo hoo! Next year, I plan on attending UW-La Crosse so I can obtain a degree in biology with a biomedical emphasis. Hopefully when it's all said and done, I can start my own Chiropractor business or possibly work in a lab doing stem cell research.
I enjoy art, even though I'm not the most creative person I know. Perhaps thats because I surround myself with artistic geniuses or something. One thing I am proud of though is my piano playing ability. I have been playing since first grade and I would consider myself to be fairly decent. There is something about music that just hits a soft spot in me. Any time I hear someone playing the piano or singing a beautiful song, it's all I can do to keep myself from gawking in the doorway like a freak.
Currently, my throat is closing up due to allergies (I think) so if I pass out in class, please check my airway. If that is too much, then call 911 and hopefully they will know what to do. Thank you.
For those of you who don't know, I was a captain of the McFarland girls swim team this year and I managed the boys swim team. When I wasn't baking treats for the boys, I was being thrown in the pool or playing subject to the many jokes cracked by members of the team. But, even though this sounds like a bad thing, I wouldn't ever take it back. Because believe it or not, those two months continuously spent with about 30 boys ended up to be one of the most entertaining things I've ever done.
As you can tell, I really like to swim, but that is not the only hobby I have. One of the best things about my lifestyle is how much I travel. My family and I go on two or three big vacations a year. For spring break we went to Key West and this summer we are going to Las Vegas. (I'll finally be 18, but that doesn't even matter. You have to be 21 in order to get into the casinos) I'd have to say my favorite vacation was last summer when my family and I went on a two week vacation to Europe. We went on a cruise to France and Spain the first week and spent the other week in Italy, Austria, and Germany. Europe has a completely different feel to it, and I enjoyed observing their cultures and traditions.
Anyway, enough about my life. My favorite book is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. I originally was assigned to read The Five People You Meet In Heaven when I discovered that I really liked the writing style of Mitch Albom. I ventured further and read Tuesdays with Morrie and fell in love with the book. The number one reason I liked it was because of all the morals given throughout the text. I thought it described an amazing way to live life, and because of that, I feel like I have become a better person. It's kind of cheesey, I know, but I would recommend that book to everyone because I believe that everyone has the right to live life to the fullest.
